Top Tips to get the best from your Natural Deodorant
We’ve gathered a few tips along the way, with help from our amazing Oh Natural customers. Here is what we have learned:
- Detoxify
It can help to begin by detoxing your pits. Yes, really! All those years of chemical deodorants mean many people’s armpits are loaded with heavy metals, toxins and impurities that haven’t been able to escape. Using Earth’s Purtities Detox-a-Pit helps cleanse and purify your armpits, and can neutralise the effects of alcohol, food, stress and pollution.
- Select a scent
Our top selling natural deodorants offer a range of scents from softly feminine (Schmidt’s Rose & Vanilla or Geramium) and girly boho (Black Chicken) to limey (Woohoo Wild) and minty fresh (Mint Chick) or masculine cedar (Tankis Skux As and Schmidts) – from Charcoal to Pineapple, there’s a scent you’ll love to wear. Maybe choose one hard working fresh scent for sports and a softer fragrance for work and nights out? Either way, you can relax in the knowledge that there are NO synthetic fragrances in our range of natural deodorants.
- Small amount
If you choose a natural deodorant in a pot or jar, use the back of your nail to scoop out a piece just smaller than your nail. Split it in two and apply.
- Smooth it
Gently smooth the natural deodorant into your skin. If it’s a stick deodorant, this is done for you, but otherwise just gently rub it in with soft circles the way you would body cream. Stick to the under-arm area and don’t spread it too far and wide. Rubbing it in well means it lasts longer, works better and will leave less on your clothes.
- Washable
Natural deodorants come away easily with warm water and soap in your normal shower. If you do notice a mark on white shirts, a warm wash should remove this also, it’s likely to be just a smidge of coconut oil from the natural deodorant.
Enjoy peace of mind knowing you smell just great, and your body is free from nasty chemicals. It’s the best of both worlds!
