Hehe this won't be me ... I swear! Well I thought it was about time for a bit of an update, now that I am at the end of day 8 of my 28 day 'teatox' detox with OMG Tea.
All in all, I'm still feeling really good! Still finding the tea easy to drink, and haven't been too hungry despite trying to watch how much and what I am eating... however I should confess to having a couple of indiscretions (one involving a birthday cake... well I didn't want to be antisocial! ;-) )
I think the biggest difference I've noticed is not having a bloated stomach. It sounds horrible but I don't think I was even aware up until now at how much of the time my stomach would feel quite bloated before for no apparent reason! I know a while back I was advised by a holistic health person (I can't remember his exact speciality) that I should avoid gluten - though it didn't show up in a regular allergies test and I ended up putting it in the too hard basket. So it could even be a combination of cutting out bread etc from my diet along with the tea that has my stomach feeling rather wonderful, but whatever it is, if you find your tummy is quite bloated or uncomfortable a lot of the time then I'd definitely give OMG Tea a go!
ALSO, apparently I've lost 3kg so far!?
I say apparently as my scales may be a little dodgy but I don't know if I choose to acknowledge the fact or just run with it! We'll see ;-) I'm so glad that I have Rarotonga / my wedding as a motivator throughout the detox as I don't know how my willpower would be going otherwise... I do have a major sweet tooth! But it is funny, the more healthier food choices you make the more your body craves them and it spurs you to keep on keeping on.
